Good news and bad news

OK, so another update now that he's been on more meds. The good news: yesterday, Leo enjoyed every drop of every bottle we gave him AND he kept about 99% of it down. He even grabbed at the bottle and tried to put it in his mouth before we could get situated. We haven't seen much of that lately. YAY!
But the bad news: he was awake and crying at 3:30 AM. What? Noooooooooooooo! (In case you haven't heard me brag already, we have a baby who has slept through the night -we're talking 10 hours straight- almost every night since he was about 2 months old.) So he woke up at 3:30 crying off and on with his head down and his eyes closed. It seemed like he was sleepy, but couldn't go back to sleep because something was making him uncomfortable. For over an hour, we tried to figure it out. It didn't seem to be his diaper or gas or teething. At almost 5:00 AM, we finally gave up and made him a bottle. He gulped it down and went right back to sleep. Guess he was just really hungry!
We're glad he's got such a healthy new appetite, BUT moving forward we're thinking we won't give him Reglan with his bottle before bed. That medicine is supposed to help the stomach empty into the intestines faster (so it doesn't have a chance to reflux). So maybe it's not a good thing right before bed. He's supposed to have four doses a day, so we'll just give it with his first four bottles - not that last one. Hopefully that will help. We'll see....
