36-week checkup

Well, we did a sono yesterday to get a better idea of just how big this baby boy really is. They’re estimating he’s right at 6 pounds 8 ounces right now. So he’s not really all that big - right on track, actually. Head’s down in position, same dialation and all, everything’s just “perfect.” I should take that as good news right? But all I can think is that my hopes of a slightly early delivery are probably out the window now. He’s not ahead of schedule after all – everything’s right on target, right where he should be. Just textbook and moving along perfectly. So I probably have to be perfectly miserable for another 4 weeks. (Sigh). :-)
